About Chippewa Cree Child Support
The Chippewa Cree Tribe joined several start-up programs in 2007 to begin the development of their own Tribal Child Support Program. On May 1, 2009, The Chippewa Cree Tribe Child Support Program was granted funding from the Administration for Children & Families Office of Child Support Enforcement, to become fully operational. The Chippewa Cree Tribe was the first Federally recognized tribe in Montana to successfully receive direct funding thus becoming the first Tribal Child Support Program in Montana.
